Midfielder Michael Stewart was at Tynecastle today to present certificates to the successful participants in the Support Employment programme.

Run over ten weeks, it was a partnership between the Heart of Midlothian Education and Community Trust, Jobcentreplus and Jewel & Esk Valley College Careers Scotland.

The programme involved helping the participants' employability by building confidence, improving team working and communication skills as well as giving career planning advice.

This was done by modules delivered by Jewel & Esk Valley and Careers Scotland and the participants taking part in football coaching, which also encourages team working leadership and communication.
