Half Season TicketHearts assistant coach Stephen Frail today revealed that striker Christian Nade will be fit to face Motherwell in Saturday's Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash at Tynecastle.

The former Sheffield United star injured his shoulder in a collision with goalkeeper Artur Boruc in the second half of the 1-1 draw with Celtic at the weekend.

There were fears the forward could struggle to make this weekend's game against the Steelmen but Stephen told Hearts News Today that he expects the powerful front man to be okay.

"Christian was a little bit sore after the game on Saturday but he trained today and should be fine for the weekend," he said. "That is good news as he is an important player for us.

"Eggert Jonsson has also been training and to have him available will be another positive.

"He was close to making it last weekend but the extra few days have made all the difference."

The Jambos dug deep to rescue a point against the league leaders, Andrius Velicka slamming home a last-minute equaliser from the penalty spot.

Stephen wants the team to show similar application when Mark McGhee brings his Steelmen to Tynecastle - and maintain the momentum which has seen the Jambos go unbeaten in their last five games.

"Mark McGhee has done a great job at Motherwell," he said. "We know it is going to be tough on Saturday but I'm confident we can get the three points which the supporters are demanding.

"When we won at Fir Park earlier this season we had been on a poor run and a lot of people were expecting us to lose. The fact we are at home will give us an advantage and we have to make sure we make the most of it.

"It is important we get a good result to take into the Rangers game at Ibrox the following weekend."
