Thank you to our supporters
Hearts today thanked supporters after the success of yesterday's Show Your Colours Family Day at Tynecastle.
A sell-out crowd enjoyed a good performance and vital victory for Hearts, which takes the race for the top six down to the final weekend of the season.
Families enjoyed face painting, player signing sessions, free scarves and flags, along with some brilliant football activities in Gerrard's Yard, including a speed cage and portable football pitch!
Supporters who bought two tickets to the game were also able to claim a free Hearts home replica shirt, whilst staff in the Ticket Centre and Superstore donned club colours for the day - rather than their usual staff uniform!
A Hearts spokesperson said, "We'd like to thank the supporters for playing their part on a successful afternoon. We hope that everyone realises by now that Hearts is committed to bringing the next generation of supporters to Tynecastle to enjoy live football.
"Our Magnificent Seven scheme which reached it's conclusion for the season, earlier in the week, saw a final group of 350 children from 83 different schools attend the Dundee United match, whilst every other seat in the stadium was sold out.
"It's been a challenging season, for sure, but everyone at Hearts believes in sticking together, and creating the very best atmosphere for the team, which they responded excellently to against Dundee United.
"In particular the second half atmosphere was electric. The stadium was jumping, and we know how much that helps the players. We hope many of the young families that joined us at the game will be back to watch Hearts again before the end of the season."
Hearts final confirmed match before the Clydesdale Bank Premier League splits is away to Kilmarnock, next Saturday, at 3pm. Away season ticket holders will receive tickets for this match as usual, however there will be no general sale of tickets and cash-only turnstiles will operate, open from 2pm at Rugby Park on the day.
The spokesperson added, "With Aberdeen and Falkirk playing at Pittodrie on the Monday night it means that victory will take Hearts into the top six and then ask a big question to the teams involved in that game in the North East.
"Victory is absolutely essential. As Stephen Frail has said, top six football is nothing to celebrate, but Hearts has a proud record of being there every year since its inception, so it's very important to the club to be there. As such we need a massive crowd to head down to Ayrshire to support the team."
Supporters with disabilities wanting more ticket information should contact the Customer Services team on 0871 663 1874, option 1, then option 8 (Monday to Friday, 9am until 5pm).
