HNT: A valuable help
Stephen Frail today expressed his delight that Neil McCann is assisting the reserve team as he gains valuable experience between now and the end of the season.
Neil, who is in his second spell at the Tynecastle club, is currently in rehabilitation after breaking his leg against Celtic at the start of the season.
As well as fighting back to full fitness he's been taking reserve team training sessions and assisting caretaker manager Stephen Frail during the games.
"It's been useful for Neil," Stephen told Hearts News. "He's been a real help to me at a time when it's very busy.
"He's taken a bit of pressure off me, and at the same time he's picking up valuable experience working with some of our younger players."
The former Rangers and Southampton winger is currently undertaking his UEFA 'B' license, which is one level down from the Pro-licence which is required to coach in any top league.
Hearts players have today off, but preparations are continuing for Saturday's vitally important game at Kilmarnock.
Several hundred tickets have already been sold, with briefs available 24-hours a day online here or by calling 0871 663 1874, option 1. Cash-only turnstiles will be available on the day for a separate section of the stand at Rugby Park.
