Heart of Midlothian FC today announced it will be appealing the red card given to Ibrahim Tall in Saturday's Bank of Scotland Premierleague match against Dundee United at Tynecastle.

The defender was sent off along with the visitors' David Robertson after a first-half flare-up in the United penalty box.

The club this afternoon wrote to the Scottish Football Association outlining the basis of the appeal.
