School fundraiser challenge day

Schools are invited to participate in the Hearts Football Fundraiser Challenge. Many schools request a signed ball or shirt to help raise funds for their school.
Hearts working with grassroots partners Coerver Coaching have put together an innovative way to not only provide a free signed ball but an opportunity for schools to host a Fundraising Day with our Hearts Community Coaches.
Pupils will try to find sponsors to make pledges and in return children will attempt to complete 5 football skills and take part in mini games.
Each year group will take part in the day. The day itself will have a five zones: passing, finishing, dribbling, attacking as a team and defending as a team. Each year group will take part in a session taking them through a series of skills.
All sponsor forms will be provided along with equipment and a minimum of two hearts coaching instructors. 50% of the funds stay with the school and 50% goes to the Hearts Community and Education Trust also helping to staff and deliver the scheme.
All pupils will receive a Heart of Midlothian Certificate of Attendance and the school will receive a signed ball that can be raffled.
After School Clubs
Our After Schools Clubs are very popular with most schools and we can offer session to P1 up to P7.
Using the school facilities we will send one of our qualified instructors to your school to run one hour coaching sessions during the school term.
We will take up to 16 children giving a 1-16 ratio.
Each session cost only £3 per pupil per week.
