Audrius is a very experienced attacking midfielder, recruited for an initial period of six months. He is also a former International winger who played 8 times for Lithuania while with his first senior club, FK Zalgiris Kaunas, who became Kaunas FBK in 1999.
Audrius became a highly regarded playmaker and from 1994-2000 he scored 45 goals in 161 League games to help Kaunas win the Championship in 1999 and 2000. Indeed, in 1999, Audrius was voted the best player in the Lithuanian League and was also the runner-up in 2000 when he hit 20 goals in 28 games.
In 2001 Audrius went to the Latvian club, FK Skonto, and he assisted the Riga-based side to win the League in 2002 and 2003, and also the Latvian Cup in 2002. Audrius then returned to Kaunas FBK in 2004 and helped his old club to claim a League and Cup double before spending 2005 with both Kaunas and FK Atlantas Klaipeda.
In 2006 he returned to FBK and Audrius is another man with a wealth of European experience, including the Commonwealth of Independent States Cup, where he reached the Final in 2003 with Skonto and 2006 with his Lithuanian club.
