Celtic - 1st December 2007

Hearts v Celtic
Tynecastle - CBSPL
Saturday 1st December
Welcome back to Tynecastle for this afternoon's game against Celtic.
Consistency is the word on everyone's lips at the moment and that is something the coaching staff are keen to engender throughout the squad.
In the last 13 games we have lost only three times. Our run includes wins against Rangers, Celtic and Aberdeen but we must be looking to maintain that standard of play to secure more wins in order to truly compete at top level. We have the quality of players to do this and we believe that we have the current depth of squad to allow us to secure the required results in the next quarter of the season.
We finished the first quarter of the season in eight place after what we all acknowledge was a particularly poor start to the season. The team now sit in sixth and everyone is working to improve on this as the season develops.
We also enjoy an opportunity to reach our second Cup final in three years if we can overcome Rangers at Hampden on 30th January. Hopefully you will take advantage of our promotional offers and get right behind the team on that evening in Glasgow.
Finally I would like to thank you for your outstanding support. You achieved a record home attendance for the season against Aberdeen the last time we played here and will be part of what we expect to be another full house this afternoon. It is greatly appreciated by the club.
Enjoy the game.
