Hearts v Kilmarnock
Tynecastle - SPL
Saturday 7th April

Good afternoon and welcome once again to Tynecastle.

I would like to start by thanking you for your continued support of the team in recent weeks.

The result last week against Hibs was satisfying for a number of reasons not least the three points that it delivered in our quest to achieve back-to-back European football qualification for only the second time since the 1960s.

Hearts is a big club with big aspirations. The club will continue to grow with your backing and that is why I was particularly pleased to see the players acknowledge the role you played in supporting the team at Easter Road and indeed throughout the season.

With your continued support we have a real opportunity to realise our ambitions for Hearts. No-one has denied that there won't be disappointments along the way - that's football - but one thing we have as a club is true vision.

We will never accept being 'also-rans' whether it be on or off the field. We're not here to simply make up the numbers. Yes, we will upset some people along the way, and yes, it will take us time to achieve the success we crave, but be assured that we will not stint in delivering a future for the club that merits the great support you show for Hearts.

Enjoy the game
