Welcome back to Tynecastle.

I am sure our recent run of games has given you added encouragement for the season ahead and I know that Anatoly and Stephen are working hard to keep our good run of results going.

One of the most important factors in our development has been the togetherness that we have engendered in the squad. This bond is also clear to see in the stands with the backing you have given the team. It is undisputed that the team perform well when backed by everyone here at Tynecastle and the high-scoring wins against Rangers and Falkirk show what your support can help us deliver. The vocal power of our away support is also an unquestionable benefit for the team and I know from having spoken to the players what it means to them.

Your support off-field has also been instrumental in our development of two major new community based schemes - the Magnificent Seven initiative and the Aegon Breakfast Clubs. Indeed today we welcome the first children to Tynecastle through the Magnificent Seven programme and hope that they enjoy their first taste of live football and, of course, their new Hearts top.

At all levels, we are developing a structure to establish Hearts as a future sustainable force in the Scottish game. We remain focused on our vision of creating a truly successful club, from first team squad down through the under 19s to youth level and, as importantly, directly into the communities of Edinburgh, the Lothians, the Scottish Borders and Fife.
