Welcome back to Tynecastle for our penultimate home game before the split.

Since writing to you last month it has been a successful period off the field.

Our AGM provided acceptance for the Board's proposals to extend the borrowing facility for the club. This is necessary to develop our strategy of building the club into a much larger business.

Additionally, and in line with our commercial aspirations, we have signed the largest kit contract deal in the club's history with world recognised brand Umbro partnering us for at least the next two seasons.

The third piece of positive news is the go-ahead for the land purchase deal.

This ensures that Hearts now has the option to buy the land required at the back of the existing main stand which allows us to plan a new main stand development which will greatly enhance the stadium and indeed surrounding area.

On field we are all aware of the work that needs to be done. However this is something that, along with our off field aspirations, we will work tirelessly to ensure happens. As always your support today and in the future will help us reach our goals as quickly as possible.
